Tatakau Monotachi [Final Fantasy VII]

Final-Fantasy-VII_-_Tatakau-Monotachi.mp3

Sheet music is from the Final Fantasy VII Piano Collection.

After playing this song for over a year, I feel “Tatakau Monotachi” from Final Fantasy VII is finally in a condition worthy of sharing. My right hand is in pain right now, but that doesn’t matter… does it?

Most likely the hardest piece from the Final Fantasy series I’ve played so far – although J-E-N-O-V-A comes quite close.

Yes, I killed the slurs and trills in the right hand. Yes, I over-pedalled (again!) Yes, my piano is (painfully) out of tune. No, I will not give you the sheet music. Use Google.

Fire and Ice Trailer

Our IB Film class necessitated a film between six and seven minutes in length and a complimentary trailer 40-60 seconds. We have submitted our 7-minute film already and are still working on a better version that will I will upload on April 16th.

Everything you see and hear, we created. We went to film at Mt. Shasta, California; I composed the music, edited, created sound effects … more info: here.
