Yes, I like medleys.
This is a smallish medley featuring piano arrangements from my current favorite orchestral scores, Pirates of the Caribbean. Yes, I did make a slight edit. A single wrong note ruined the entire piece, and that just didn’t work out for me. The songs, in order:
- Davey Jones
-The Medallion Calls (variation)
- Hoist The Colours

Hey I’ve been playing piano for 8 years now and I’ve started on your kingdom hearts concert paraphrase of dearly beloved. I found this pirates of the caribean arrangement on you tube and I love the music in that movie. Is there any way I can get that sheet music that you played?

Hey, thanks much! The Concert Paraphrase is an awesome song.
I learned the Pirates medley by ear — and very badly so. Most of the melodies are mangled, harmonies are off, and the whole medley really isn’t one of my best. That said, there’s no sheet music.. and there probably won’t be. Sorry!

I don’t know why you wouldn’t put sheet music to this, It’s amazing. I want to play to so much and any sheet music i’ve found I haven’t liked as much as hearing you play this.
P.S. Is there any way to request you to do sheet music for specific songs.

Hiya. The only reason I haven’t put up sheet music is because the song was improvised — I just played by ear.
And yes – I do do commissions.

Wow you are amsolutely incredible. I am 15 years old and a huge fan! i was able to learn “Time” from Inception and i havn’t even had any lessons. I also learned “Davy Jones” on my own. Do you have any pointers for an aspiring pianist?

Awesome – keep it up. The only real advice I can give is “Don’t stop, no matter what.”
I stopped playing for about a year when I was 12, and life sucked. Find a way to keep motivated if it doesn’t come naturally. You’ll thank yourself later :)
