I just beat Portal 2. Here’s some piano sheet music for the ending song, Want You Gone, by Jonathan Coulton. Mild spoilers, in case you haven’t gotten around to playing it yet.
Everything © Jonathan Coulton, Valve Corporation.
Edit: 4/24/2011: Like this one? I just finished arranging the Turret Opera (Cara Mia) as well!
Sheet Music
Lyrics
In case you want to sing along:
Well here we are again
It’s always such a pleasure
Remember when you tried
to kill me twice?
Oh how we laughed and laughed
Except I wasn’t laughing
Under the circumstances
I’ve been shockingly nice
You want your freedom?
Take it
That’s what I’m counting on
I used to want you dead
but
Now I only want you gone
She was a lot like you
(Maybe not quite as heavy)
Now little Caroline is in here too
One day they woke me up
So I could live forever
It’s such a shame the same
will never happen to you
You’ve got your
short sad
life left
That’s what I’m counting on
I’ll let you get right to it
Now I only want you gone
Goodbye my only friend
Oh, did you think I meant you?
That would be funny
if it weren’t so sad
Well you have been replaced
I don’t need anyone now
When I delete you maybe
I’ll stop feeling so bad
Go make some new disaster
That’s what I’m counting on
You’re someone else’s problem
Now I only want you gone
Now I only want you gone
Now I only want you…
gone

I am going to add a drum track. Started this project, but never finished. You beat me too it. Good job, adding site to favorites!
Awesome – send me a copy when you’re done!
i have a problem with the MIDI file; when Windows Media Player opens, it freezes up and i’ve never had this problem before
Sorry to hear it. Don’t use Windows Media Player. I recommend using something like VLC for any audio or video file…
Thank you so much for this! As a pianist and a huge Portal fan, I am very grateful :D
Would it be possible for you to arrange the classical music that Wheatley plays in the fifteenth test chamber?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0vIioDGpjo This is the link so that you know what I’m talking about.
The “classical music” song is actually Bach’s Little Prelude nº 2 from the Six Little Preludes (BWV 934)
this sheet is not right. The rhythm is not right at all at “remember when you tried to”
I just want to add my thanks for this work. I do not play Portal, lacking the reflexes for it (cf. Stef from UserFriendly.org) but I am a huge JoCo fan.
Hey,
It doesn’t go to b major but to Fsharp major… there should be one more sharp in the key signature. thanks again for posting this.

hey i just wanted to know sebastion (and others) if you are willing to make songs that were originaly made for an audience for little girls, but don’t worry older males like it too. My Little Pony: Friendship is magic songs. there isn’t that much music in the series but i played around making a few for some songs such as Rainbow Factory. Well anyway thanks for all your music sheets i have learnt throughout these months.
Oh, MLP. Added to the requests list :)
is it possible that you can make a solo version?
Any chance you could send me a copy 2-3 half-steps higher? I don’t have Sibelius. I’m teaching it to 4-8 graders (I’m a parent-volunteer music teacher), and the original key is just too low!
The kids love the music, so your work on this and others is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
hey sebastian, i noticed one person asked for the music 2-3 half steps higher, but being a bass the f# i believe it is, it’s kind of a stretch. down 3-4 half steps would be awesome. and no i don’t have sibelius either, and finale doesn’t copy it right through my scanner and copying it down would be exasperating. :) thx again.
I’m trying to re-arrange this for a clarinet. Good gravy, that’s a lot of sharps…
Oh well. Thanks for this :)
I’d like the main part in a bass clef.
Want fries with that?
