This is the first of a few Kung Fu Panda arrangements that are coming your way. Someone recently commissioned me to write out the cues from the credits (minus Jack Black’s version of Kung Fu Fighting). The songs are:
- Kung Fu Fighting
- Oogway Ascends
- Panda Po
- Sacred Pool of Tears
Here is the first of the 4 upcoming arrangements: Oogway Ascends, probably the most emotional and touching of all the songs on the soundtrack.

A question though, in bars 16, 18, 19, 35 & 36 do the 2/3 thick lines mean the same? As in played as a tremolo? I’ve actually never come across that type of notation before…thanks!!!
Yep – it’s a tremolo between the notes.
